Jamie:

Thats one of my fav. quotes by the way.

I find myself able to have empathy for you. When i was 8 we moved from Lincoln to Northern California. Thats where i pretty much grew up. I lived there until i graduated high school. Then came back to Lincoln when i was 18. At that point I knew the Lord, and i remember distinctly learning a very valuable lesson: I think that 1) God moves us away and 2) God moves others away; SO THAT we may know that HE is the only constant thing in Life. I am also a very visual person and i could go into detail a million scenes ive lived while out in California. At least once a day it seems as though something comes through. Not to mention ive lived and visited about 20 other places in this Country. Images images images. they are everywhere and i empathize with you. After moving a few times myself, i think i could safely say that there comes a point where you will call your new home "home." It doesnt feel like it now maybe, theres nostalgia and longing to go back. But its all an adventure. Take hope and have curage. God is doing something marvelous. And there will come a day where you are creating new images there in Japan and then some day far away, you will look back on THOSE with vivid images.

But really you summed it up well with the Lewis quote. Im excited for you three. Very few people have the opportunity to do what youre doing. God truly blesses those he loves.
