apparently, ezra has a dairy allergy. enough of one to cause gas, constipation, nasal congestion, and excema — and to interrupt his nighttime sleep. needless to say, i’ve had to put a full-stop to all milk-related items in my life.
this video is a good representation of my feelings on the matter. (gotta start at minute 2:45, but watching it all is fun.)
I feel your pain…I’ve had to do the same thing for Ari. What I would give for a huge chunk of cheddar cheese!
I feel your pain, Jamie. I’ve been soy and dairy product free for over 6 months now. The first thing I’m going to do when Anson is weaned is eat an entire tub of cottage cheese. Hang in there!
ok, yet another who feels your pain. 🙂 I was in France- france of all places and couldn’t eat the cheese or chocolates. It was SO hard to do, but worth the peace it brought because Kenan could sleep better (and thus so could I). Just remember it WILL get better and you WILL be able to eat dairy again. You will!
sheri!! welcome welcome! what a BUMMER to be in france and not eat cheese or chocolate!
I’m sad that you can’t enjoy in french quizine
At least nowadays, soy products are getting better. At least in the states, I guess I don’t know about where you are at….I hope for your sake you can at least get some Soynog for the Holiday season! Mmm. I actually like it better than the real thing. The Silk brand is the best….
